I picked up Cora Bella from Beth and Henry in St Cloud today around 4pm. As I gave Henry a kiss and said goodbye I asked him if he was going to come stay at my house sometime all by himself like Cora was. He nodded his head vigorously that YES he would. I blew him a kiss through the window and he sent one back to me with his little hand. Such a sweet little man! So Cora and I headed to Alexandria for some shopping and supper. Cora wanted to eat at China Buffet and that sounded like a great idea to me. She ate so many things, but she served her own food and did everything perfectly! She had wontons, chicken nuggets, cucumbers, one waffle fry, one slice of garlic bread, one small square of red jello, 3 pastries for dessert and one bowl of choc/vanilla softserve. We read our fortunes which were the same!! and she tasted a bit of her fortune cookie and then meticulously broke it into pieces and put it on top of her softserve and ate it! Mmmmmm she said. I said " does it taste like an ice cream cone?" she nodded dreamily. Then we went to the mall and did some clothes shopping at Herbergers (70% off sale on Cora clothes!!) and she helped me find a new toy for my toy box at home. She picked out a big set of those small Disney princess dolls she loves so much. She didn't want to leave the mall but wanted to walk through and experience it. She enjoyed walkinmg the mall ALOT and loved Claire's. She walked towards it as if mesmerized by all the pink, sparkly things. And stopped and loooked at everythning very closely. She seemed so grown up to me as she looked earings, bracelets, purses, hats and necklaces. She really loves locked diaries and really wants another one. We headed out of the mall and then went to teh car. I realized on the way to Glenwood that we didn't have any Cora food. So we stopped at Toms and picked up some essentials. We got to our house about 745 and we agreed she could stay up until 9 at gramma and grampas'. But that was a little too late cause that little princess was exhausted by the time we got her into bed. She was very glad to have the Henry Bear teddy bear sleeping on Henry's bed and she picked a story book for her bedtime story that included a story called "Henry" which has a character named Henry in it. Think she's missing someone a bit?
